Roy's First Hunting Trip!

Baby Racoons!

The guy that is trapping the crazy squirrel that is hanging out in our attic and walls, stopped by today and had a few extra passengers in his truck! We got to pet and hold the baby racoons that he pulled out of a fireplace today. They will be taken to a nature center and released. Lauren is going to hate that she missed this!!

Our yard is AMAZING!

We have the most amazing flowering trees and bushes- one of them smells so incredible. The birds are always out and singing... we even have willows! It is simply beautiful!

Sharon Woods-Day Two!

Sharon Woods!

We live one mile from the COOLEST place called Sharon Woods. It is a huge park right in the middle of the city- but so big you forget you are in the city! They have several huge playgrounds and in the summer many of them double as water parks. Also, there is a marina with boat rentals- canoes, hydrobikes, ect. There is camping and golf- you name it!! Roy took the kids yesterday... it has been in the 70's and super nice!

Feeding time at the Zoo!

The cutest thing happened the other night!!! I was on my blog... reading all about Crystal's great trip to the tulip festival (man, I miss the tulip festival!) and Ava wanted some pudding... Darn kids always want something!! LOL So, I grabbed the pudding and a spoon and set her at the table like a total moron. Don't you love it when you do something quickly for the kids and you KNOW it will be a distaster... however, as long as you can do what you want to do NOW, it somehow seems worth it? Anyway.... I noticed it got very quiet behind me. I turned around to see what kind of huge mess had unfolded and was absolutely knocked out by the cutest thing! Ethan had climbed up to sit ON the table while Ava was on the chair and she was feeding him the pudding!! One spoon for him, one for her! It was SO adorable. A LITTLE messy- but so worth it. I grabbed the camera right away!

Big School Girl!

Lauren has been loving riding the school bus- I sadly, have not been able to see her get on or off the bus yet because it doesn't work out with my schedule-- so Roy took a picture!! I am home sick today (absolutely cannot get over this cold and fever)- so I am FOR SURE going to muster the energy to go down to the bus stop.

Pearl and Ava!

We all been so stinking sick! However, while I am at work Roy has still managed to get some cute pics around the house (even if you can totally see poor Ava has red droopy eyes!). Here are a couple he snapped last week!

Newport (Kentucky!) Aquarium

We went down to Newport on the Levee on Saturday and had a great time! It is an amazing aquarium and the kids did very well. It was great to get out as a family and check out what the city has to offer!

Thanks Goodness!! As much as we love winter you cannot beat trees and flowers filling out and blooming! Our neighborhood is gorgeous- I got home late and only could snap a picture or too... more to come! So happy to see flowers....
